As a full line juvenile products manufacturer, Colgate Mattress Atlanta offers the widest selection of portable crib mattresses, cradle, bassinet and changing table pads.
Portable Crib Mattresses
The standard portable (mini) crib size is 24" x 38.5". We manufacture a variety of mattresses in different thicknesses and covers for these units. Please note the maximum height of these mattresses is 3 inches. This is in order to comply with the CPSC regulation for non-standard cribs (http://www.cpsc.gov).
We us a standard foam core with three different coverings. For residential use, we have a non-supported vinyl as well as the more luxurious quilted vinyl.

For institutional use we have a double laminated vinyl cover as well as a hospital grade anti-microbial cover. These covers will hold up longer under the continuous use at a day care center or nursery type of setting. Likewise there are more stringent cleaning requirements in an institutional setting. These covers will maintain their integrity longer than the less durable covers that are used for the residential application.
Please note that it is very important to follow the cleaning instructions set forth by state law. Do not exceed the mixture recommendations. Most states require a 1 part bleach per 100 parts water for a cleaning solution. Bleach is an astringent and will have a deleterious effect on the cover if the solution is too strong.
Astringents remove the plasticizers from the vinyl. Once this happens the cover will crack. This situation is not covered under our warranty due to an improper solution mix.
There are two other size mattresses that we make which fit the Graco Pac-N-Play models. They are a 26 x 37 and a 28 x 40. We make the smaller size in both a two and three inch version and the larger size in only a two inch version.

Contour Changing Pads
These are the units that have that "scooped" out section that fit on a dresser. Colgate Mattress Atlanta makes the widest variety of styles in these units. Additionally out contoured changing table pads have been tested by an independent facility to meet the new ASTM "roll standard."
All covers are a quilted vinyl with the exception of our promotional model. That unit has a simulated quilted cover. The standard units all have high density foam edges with a masonite board foundation for structural integrity. The promotional unit has a corrugated fiber board base and standard density foam.
We have two-sided and three-sided contour changers. Many parents like the three-sided concept as that short side can be used as a head rest for the infant during changing.
Colgate even has a contoured changing pad with a Visco-elastic base for the maximum in comfort. The unit also has an anti-microbial cover. Additionally we have two models of "hi-rise" changers that have an 8 " base instead of the standard 4" base. This unit is for the taller mom and dad so they do not have to bend over as far to change the baby.
The standard size is 16 x 33 and the Mini-Contour is 16 x 30. The smaller unit can be used on a combo unit when the hutch is attached.

Two inch pads:
Colgate produces 14 different 2" rectangular pads for bassinets, Moses baskets and cradles. They range in size from 12 x 27 x 2 up to 18 x 36 x 2. All covers are a white quilt.
We also have 5 oval 2" pads that fit the most popular bassinets. The sizes range from 12 x 27 x 2 through 15 x 32 x 2.
Colgate will manufacture custom pads. This service is provided to an authorized Colgate Mattress Atlanta retailer. A template may need to be provided in order for us to make it correctly. There are some shapes that we are unable to make due to equipment limitations. Your Colgate retailer can help you with this.
One inch pads:
Many parents do not specifically by a changing station. They sometimes use the top of a dresser. In this case they just add a one inch pad to the top of the dresser. We make 7 different pads starting with a 16 x 33 x 1 on up to an 18 x 33 x 1. All covers are a white quilt on one side and a smooth white vinyl on the reverse side.
